Master White Balance in Lightroom | Tutorial Tuesday
I just got mine and instantly felt like this was the Lens I have been waiting for.
my ideal is to have 24-70/2.8 for indoor and professional work, 100/2.8 for macro and pancake 40/2.8 for outdoor trips
Good video , I've found especially in groups of people where they know your around to take photos that after having taken numerous shots & letting them relax then stand back with a suitable zoom & capture them again can result in a good mixture of eye and non eye pics, not always successful but generally so.
Wanker
Hasselblad has correct exposure and color dynamic more that full frame on the market.
Hi Gavin. Great video & interesting to see what you are doing with images from a shoot we were both at. It gives me a good point of reference, even if we were shooting on different cameras & focal lengths. You Sony & 50mm & me Nikon & 85mm. This may be a little controversial, but artistically converting to mono/black & white has a great deal to do with how the colours are converted to a monochromatic image. Whether using Light Room Classic, Photoshop with Camera RAW, or a plug-in such as Silver FX Pro. Colour translation involves a form of colour grading unless you want to be not at all artistic & just desaturate your image. Hopefully, no one here would choose the latter method of creating black & white images from sRGB colour files. Good to chat to you the other week too, it's been a while.
I do a,lot of Candids/portraits down the pub on my nights off. Some of the best shots are actually people looking away. I do believe it depends on the photo/subject/feel as you mention, but a few stand out shots are of people looking away
I cured myself from the GAS but this lens is on my list. Saving now 😂
With youtube using selfie screens I think people are used to models not directly looking into the lens...
informative video thanks Park Cameras.
Do you think that in the photo it has the same quality as the gfx ll
There is no way I can shoot in the morning. I work at 6 Am in the morning and go to sleep at 7pm, every day. So I photograph when I can, at mid day.
I've just taken delivery of this mic from you. Excited to see ho it performs as we're heading off for a week long road trip next week 🤩
I am impressed by your review. Was actually researching on this partucular model before bumping on your review.
Works for a lot of different people. Spot on. Camera snobs won’t get it. It’s a ton of fun, love the looks of photos and video quality is incredible. I’m very happy with my first Panasonic camera.
I'm tossing between two: rf 800mm f11 vs Rf200-800 for my Canon R6m2 Ive got nikon D7200 with Nikkor 200-500 I always shoot at 500mm
I just got my first camera that mine is the sony the a7iv n i got the same lens thank you it let me know i have everything to start off camera journey asking myself should i get one more lens i’m gonna use what i got n learn my camera
I can never seem to get to make a colour grade that I see on another person’s photo.
After watching a good number of videos on this same subject, I finally found one that makes sense and isn't an hour long. Well done!
thanks for the review - does it de squeez anamorphic ?
How does it compare to Fujifilm GFX 100 II? Which is better x2d? Which has better lens ?
GFX 100 has more distortion color. some channel has compare them both on the studio.
Yours is the like 8th lightroom video I'm watching in a row and it's finally making everything make sense, thank you for explaining what everyone else seems to think is intrinsic knowledge <3
In the specifications of the Rode VXLR Pro adapter, I read that the plug-in power supply is 4 Volts when the phantom power supply is 24 Volts and 48 Volts. It turns out that the Rode VXLR PRO adapter, connected to the Zoom F3 audio recorder, converts a phantom power supply of 12-48 Volts to a voltage of 4 Volts and transmits it to the Rode Lavalier Go lavalier microphone. Does this mean that in such cases it will not matter whether I set up a phantom power supply of 24 Volts or 48 Volts in the settings of the Zoom F3 audio recorder? After all, the adapter will still convert to 4 Volts, which is necessary for a lapel microphone? Most importantly, will the adapter prevent the Rode Lavalier Go Lavalier microphone from breaking (burning) due to high voltage? One point is unclear to me. They write that first you need to attach a lapel microphone to the Zoom F3 audio recorder, and then install 48 Volt phantom power in the Zoom F3 settings. Otherwise, the lavalier microphone will burn out. And doesn't the Rode VXLR Pro adapter convert 48 Volts to 4 Volts, despite the fact that before or after connecting the lapel microphone, I installed phantom power in the Zoom F3 audio recorder?
A small battery is not a problem at all. The problem is not in the sensor or low light compared to the Sony A7c. Canon R8 is awesome until 6400ISO, not 12800ISO. Canon must think about some cheap, good version of the lens. Canon must give us the R8 type kit lens or RF15-30 F4.5-6.3 and must bring a cheap and good RF28-75mm F2.8 or 24-50mm F2.8L. Also a good cheap telephoto like Nikon 180-600 F5.6-6.3 IT must be 1200 USD permanently.
very portable as always does canon.... :D
Could you please provide information on whether there is any option in X2 to mark clips with a marker during recording? The idea is to use the MARK CLIP function, just like in previous versions of reporter cameras. This way, the "good clips" would be visible when importing clips into Adobe Premiere Pro. Please help if anyone knows how to do this.
Z9...Z9....Z9...🎉❤🎉❤
Thank you Gareth and really helpful 🙏
Gareth, tell me your secrets :o . Or better yet, make a health channel, haha As for the camera... the IBIS is Sony-level bad, and it gives bad e-stab artefacts as well (which somehow Sony doesn't do?)
Amazing work - and fantastic model ❤
Nice job, good video, thanks.
I learned a lot. Thank you.
good extensive ALR Video thanks Park Cameras.
Thanks for the review, very informative. Shame about the distracting background Muzak.
Any highlight notification in the EVF before taking photos?
Thank you for the vid. Not sure about the articulating LCD. Not so useful for photographers. Should have opted for the Z8 type LCD instead, best of both worlds. And why in the world is the camera so much more expensive in the UK when compared to the US even taking tax into account? I'll wait for the Z5 mk II to decide what to do.
Waiting for this camera, but not excited no 33mp and sensor shield, I'll buy now the Z8 with better focusing.
I completely agree. The Z8 now feels like a better deal
@@brooker_7883of course if you pay $1,500 more
You are showing a young lady as the thumbnail but she is not anywhere in the video. This is a cheep tecqnique to get viewers. We want sample images instead of boaring anchroning.
Good overview, cheers Gareth. Going to be a good staple for many out there, quite exciting technology Nikon is experimenting with. Guess we will see a fully stacked 24.5MP sensor, married to a Expeed 8 processor, in a new high-speed action Z9H. Let’s see. You’re looking good btw, well done, Mate. Keep it up! Greetings from Down Under.
I hate you 😂I want one now😂 This just might be the perfect camera to film surfing
Ah too bad: two downgrades from the previous model: The selfie screen, which is not great for any type of work when you are behind the camera. And two different kinds of card slots. Which means the risk of losing work if a card fails.
This body is more focussed to the videography crowd, as well as vloggers, so the flippy screen will work better for them, I suspect. I prefer the Nikon Z9-style lcd, but owning both the Z9 and the Zf, it is not a big issue. Horses for courses. Not sure what your gripe about the two different card slots is? Yo8 can set the camera to back up/overflow to the 2nd card in photo-mode. No issue there. If a better fail-safe is required, add an external device, such as an Atomos, for example. If your work is that serious that that level of data-protection is required, probably a good idea to have external backup means.
The previous model had exactly the same card slots as this.
@@bsc001 Hey there! Yeah I strongly agree, that the Z9 style screen is way better. Because it stays behind the camera you can easily use it in a rig without cables or other stuff like a battery in the way. And yeah: having the screen in line with the lens is also more pleasant. (I find it weird when vlogger look slightly to the side of the lens...) With the card slots I meant: Having faster cards is cool: so you can use higher transfer rates. But if you want to use backups, you are still limited to the speed of the slowest card. So you still have to pay for the faster and more expensive cards without any speed benefit...that's a shame I think. So yeah: this is not the camera for me.
@@nightowlnzab Ah you are right! I find it weird that so few camera's have identical card slots for backup....
I’m a Canon shooter, but that is very impressive.
Looks great, but I've been around too long to be constantly hit by G.A.S., and one thing I know from experience, for me it's best to wait a few months after a product comes out before making up my mind. In addition, it will also pay off much better for me to have ice in my stomach, and wait for between one or two years before I buy. Because then the price is usually more reasonable, and you also know a little more about the faults/cons via several others serious photographers who are not paid by Nikon or are fanboys, because then it is easier to make the right decision .....
6K sounds very useful feature very informative review Thanks Park Cameras.
What do you think? Are you excited for the Z6 III?
Literally did not explain anything..
the lens used for protection from scratches and dust
It hurts seeing the sensor exposed as in the video . Thank you for info .
Every sensor in the world has protective glass in front of it as well as additional lpf and ir filters between glass and sensor. Good protection quick and cheap to replace stop bitching about it
@@YT_is_Full_of_Shit_Nowadays yeah. Dust inbetween the nd filters are always a treat .
@@steinaragotnes4805 dude are you stupid lpf and ir filters are glued to the sensor permanently there is no way for dust to get in it is not the same as shitty nd filter you remove 🤣😅😂 they are easy and cheap to replace in service thou
Thanks very much, looking forward to the next.
Thanks Gareth - this shows how and why LR is becoming the go-to tool for those afraid of PhotoShop (such as me 😂). I rarely shoot images with people in them but the technique works with inanimate objects too, such as in landscape and certainly in wildlife imaging. My current direction of exploration is in astro photography -- any thoughts?
Thanks! Just getting into Capture One after years of Lightroom (new Adobe terms of service are a deal breaker) and I'd forgotten what a learning curve was. Great info.
